Grapefruit is a great addition to a breakfast or snack but it gets kind of boring eating plain grapefruit all of the time, even with how healthy and low calorie it is. Try this to spruce up your grapefruit! You’ll never want to eat it plain again.
Ingredients
- 1 chilled grapefruit, cut in half
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp honey
Directions
- Preheat the broiler and spray your baking sheet with a bit of cooking spray.
- Prop the grapefruit up so they are peel down on the sheet. You may need to use rolled up foil to get them to stand up.
- Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over the grapefruit halves.
- Drizzle honey over both of them.
- Broil for 5 minutes or until becoming slightly darkened.
