Indoor S’mores SnackWhen your sweet tooth hits what is your go-to snack? I’ve got a lot but sometimes you just really need a touch of chocolate.

S’mores are great because they’re already portion sized, but it’s not practical to start a fire to make them the traditional way each time you want one.

Cocoa powder is a great way to help with that chocolate craving without adding a lot of calories.

Of course you need a bit of sweetness to go with it which is why this recipe also includes bananas and a bit of coconut!

These are a favorite at parties and with kids as well.

They take minutes to make so you’ll want to keep the ingredients on hand after the first time you make them.

Ingredients

1 banana
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
3 tbsp. toasted coconut
(Optional) Chocolate syrup for drizzle

Ingredients

16 dried and unsulphured apricots
8 tsp crumbled blue cheese
½ tsp honey
2 oz pistachios, chopped
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Arrange apricots on a serving platter.
  2. Add ½ tsp blue cheese on each apricot and sprinkle with pistachio nuts.
  3. Drizzle with honey and top with a dash of black pepper.
